EARTH KOSMOS
KOSMOS is the evolving creative universe of Manohar Chiluveru — a Hyderabad-based contemporary artist, sculptor, writer, and creator working across visual art, storytelling, books, characters, and cinematic imagination.
Manohar’s practice began with painting, sculpture, live painting, public art, large-scale visual works, and participatory creative projects. Over time, this practice expanded into flash fiction, novels, story worlds, screen ideas, and book series.
Across the KOSMOS sequence, Manohar investigates how a single subject, artistic inquiry, or emotional idea can move across different media — from painting to sculpture, from stories to novels, and from scripts to screen worlds.
The journey moves through three connected creative directions:

HOPE KOSMOS
The World After Silence
HOPE KOSMOS began in 2021 as a large-scale art project and exhibition by Manohar Chiluveru at Shrishti Art Gallery, Hyderabad.
Created in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, HOPE KOSMOS was conceived as an artistic tribute to people affected by the pandemic and as a public-facing project focused on healing, hope, expression, and emotional recovery. The exhibition was presented at Shrishti Art Gallery from 21 November 2021 to 15 January 2022.
The project included large-scale acrylic artworks on canvas and invited community engagement through painting as a way to heal, express, and bring people together during a time of uncertainty.
For Manohar, HOPE KOSMOS marked an important shift. It showed that art could carry collective emotion — not only as an object, but as an experience, a gesture, and a shared space.
HOPE KOSMOS asked:
How does a person continue when the world becomes uncertain?
How does art hold emotional pressure?
How does hope become a practice, not just a feeling?
It became the first major step in the KOSMOS journey

The Inner Universe
From HOPE KOSMOS grew SPIRIT KOSMOS.
If HOPE KOSMOS began with collective resilience, SPIRIT KOSMOS moved inward — into identity, attention, imagination, self-power, creativity, cities, and the human spirit.
This phase explores how people respond to pressure from society, ambition, urban life, memory, and inner conflict. It is shaped by studio practice, city encounters, documentation, and the emotional rhythm of contemporary life.
SPIRIT KOSMOS examines the human being as an inner universe.
It asks:
What shapes a person’s attention?
How do cities affect identity and perception?
How does the spirit survive pressure and still move forward?
SPIRIT KOSMOS became the bridge between Manohar’s visual art practice and his expanding interest in stories, characters, books, and human transformation.
EARTH KOSMOS
Stories from the Living Planet
EARTH KOSMOS is the latest evolution of the KOSMOS universe.
It carries the journey outward again — from the inner world to the living planet.
EARTH KOSMOS is a solo artist-led creative universe of original contemporary art, flash fiction, cinematic novels, and screen stories shaped by climate imagination, human emotion, and the living planet.
The project explores Earth, human life, other life, oceans, animals, cities, love, ambition, coexistence, future pressure, fantasy, the supernatural, and cinematic possibility.
At its core, EARTH KOSMOS asks how the living planet can become more than a subject. It can become atmosphere, memory, conflict, beauty, danger, mystery, love, and world-building.
The artworks stand as independent contemporary art.
The stories are built to entertain like films.
Together, they create a universe where visual art, fiction, novels, and screen stories grow side by side without diluting each other.
